Copreci and MONDRAGON Corporation bet on the future of mobility

The Basque industry continues to set the pace: Copreci and MONDRAGON’s Promotion Fund are joining the push for electric mobility by investing in Niche Mobility, a Catalan startup making waves with its e-bike motor innovation.

Their ADTS® technology, an automatic gear-shifting system for electric bikes, is about to enter production thanks to a €1.6M funding round, which also includes Clave Capital and several local business angels.

For Copreci, with decades of experience in electric motor manufacturing, this alliance is a strategic move to diversify and innovate in a growing sector. As their Director of Innovation, Rodrigo Orue, puts it: “It’s a perfect industrial fit.”
